The Easy Formula
An elegant midi or maxi dress, a polished cocktail dress, or a dressy jumpsuit. A tailored trouser ensemble in an elevated fabric is also welcome.
Summer elegance, a little personality, and plenty of room to celebrate. Here’s what our wedding dress code means.

An elegant midi or maxi dress, a polished cocktail dress, or a dressy jumpsuit. A tailored trouser ensemble in an elevated fabric is also welcome.
Florals, soft colors, and vibrant summer shades all suit the setting. Solid colors are equally lovely—there is no required palette.
Look for breathable fabrics with a dressed-up finish. Add jewelry or a special bag to make the outfit feel ready for an evening celebration.
Dressy flats, block heels, or elegant sandals are all good choices. Choose a pair you will enjoy wearing through dinner and dancing.
Think dressed-up summer wedding, not casual garden party. A suit and tie or an elegant dress or jumpsuit is the sweet spot. Black tie is not required.
Absolutely not. An outfit you already love is perfect if it fits the dress code. These photos are inspiration, not a shopping list.
Please save jeans, shorts, casual polos, and everyday sneakers for another part of the weekend.
This guide is for our Saturday wedding. Sunday’s day at the races is a separate outing; check our Weekend page for those gathering details.
